Based in Whitefield in North Manchester, Ace Waxing offers professional waxing and beauty treatments in a private, comfortable setting. I'm just off the M60, making me easy to reach from across Manchester, Salford, Bolton, Oldham and the surrounding areas.

Out of the city, without the city prices

City centre salons carry city centre overheads, and that shows up on the price list and in what it costs you to park before you have even sat down. Whitefield is a short hop out on the Metrolink Bury line from Victoria, or straight up the A56 Bury New Road, and the parking outside my door is free.

For anyone working in town, that combination is usually the draw. You are not paying a premium for a postcode, and you are not adding a parking charge on top of a brow wax.

Just off the M60

Whitefield sits right by the M60, which is what makes it workable from most of Greater Manchester rather than just the bit next door. Salford, Bolton, Oldham, Middleton and Swinton are all a straightforward drive, and clients come from all of them.

If you would rather use the tram, the Bury line runs directly through Whitefield, so Prestwich, Radcliffe and Bury are all a handful of stops away with nothing to change. It is one of those places that is far easier to get to than people assume from looking at a map.

A private room instead of a busy salon

The bigger reason people travel out from Manchester is not the money. It is that a city centre salon is, by design, a busy commercial floor: music on, phone going, someone waiting for your chair. That is fine for a blow dry. It is less fine for a Hollywood.

I work one to one in my own treatment room. Nobody else is in, nothing is rushed, and I am not watching the clock for the next booking. For intimate waxing, and for the men who make up a growing part of my week, that privacy is the whole reason they drive past a dozen closer salons to get here.
